As per SEBI guidelines, KYC Registration Agencies (KRA) are responsible for validating clients’ KYC details as per their records and it is mandatory to verify your KYC details such as email ID and mobile number registered with the KYC Registration Agency (KRA).
If the client’s details are not verified on the KRA portal then the following trading restrictions will apply:
-
You will not be allowed to trade
- Open positions will be squared-off to prevent the risk of physical delivery or margin penalties
- Your Demat account will be frozen
Clients are required to check their validation status of their KRA at CVL KRA and if the KRA status is not validated than they need to validate to respective KRA agency where the KRA is registered.
Following is the Process to check and validate the KRA status.
For KRA Status: Click here to check the Status and the Agency where it is registered.
- Click on KYC Inquiry.
- Enter PAN details, captcha and click on submit.
- KYC Status will show the status against the Agency.
- Once validated, you’ll see ‘New KYC Validated’ message as shown below:
If the Details are not verified in the above screen shot, than clients need to verify the same from their KRA agency (in the above screen shot, client KRA is registered with CVL KRA), below are the Links for 5 KRA agencies , click on your respective KRA agency :
Note: Please note that one client can be registered with one KRA agency and if any of the agency is showing your status as Registered and Validated, than no further action required.
Once your information is confirmed on the KRA portal, please share the screenshot of validated status with us by sending an email to [email protected]. After this it will take around 3 to 4 business days for the update to reflect with ProStocks and you can resume trading.
